Normally, I’d say “what you see is exactly what you get” — but when it comes to my bowls, you receive so much more than what a photo can show.
No matter how hard we try, we simply can’t capture the true feeling of quality and presence you experience when holding one of these pieces in your hands. You can’t smell the natural oils, beeswax, and other premium ingredients used in the finish. You can’t feel the weight, the smoothness, or the energy of the wood — but I promise you, it’s all there.
What I can guarantee is that when your bowl arrives and you unwrap it for the first time, you won’t regret your purchase. And if, for any reason, you feel disappointed or the piece doesn’t meet your expectations, just send me a personal message. I’ll make it right — your satisfaction truly matters to me.
Every bowl has its own story.
The wood used for this walnut bowl comes from trees that were fairly purchased from local people who needed to remove them — whether they were in the way, posed a risk to nearby buildings, or had simply reached the end of their time.
Many of these trees are over 100 years old, often planted by the grandparents or even great-grandparents of the people who now sell them to me. It’s always a touching experience to hear their stories — from elderly owners who, as children, once climbed those very trees, or cracked open the walnuts they harvested with their own grandparents.
Because I personally visit each site to cut and collect the wood, I get to hear these stories firsthand. And with every tree I buy and work with, I feel a deep sense of responsibility. I’m not just working with wood — I’m working with memories, with pieces of people’s childhoods, family histories, and moments lived in the shade of these trees. That connection drives me to craft each bowl with the greatest care and respect — to make the best piece I can.
